Best Ever Sauce
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light cream
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Heat butter, sugar, and cream over very hot heat for 12-15 minutes. Stirring until well blended and slightly thickened. Do not let the sauce boil!! When thick add vanilla and a dash of nutmeg. Serve hot.
